Photograph Printing With Digital Flatbed UV Printer

Digital cameras are enjoying increasing popularities in our lives, and the techniques of digital cameras are also improving day after day. Photograph developing is no longer limited in professional digital shops; it can be achieved by a digital flatbed UV printer with great conveniences. However, some of us still have misunderstandings about developing photographs with digital flatbed UV inkjet printing machine. Here YOTTA would like to discuss this topic with all of you:

Misunderstanding 1: The digital photographs can only be looked through with computers.

With the development of digital techniques, the digital camera can directly connect to the printer and the photographs can be printed out. One of the most common used equipment is the colorful inkjet printer, whose printing cost is relatively high. Another popular printing method with lower production costs is the Digital Minilab technology, this technology enables fast developing of photographs by flatbed UV printing machine with high resolution and long-term durability.

Misunderstanding 2: The digital photographs can only be printed onto specific photograph papers.

The substrates of traditional photographing developing methods are specific photograph papers, which is differ from the digital UV flatbed printer. With a flatbed printer, the photographs and images with brilliant colors can be printed directly onto various media such as metal, glass, leather, ceramic, wood, textile and plastic and more.

Misunderstanding 3: The higher the resolution is, the clearer the photographs are.

To some extent, this rule is true. However, as every flatbed UV printing machine has its own upper limits of resolutions, and if the output resolution is beyond its limits, the clarity and fidelity won't be improved correspondingly. Furthermore, the transmission speed between the computer and printer will be slowed down and the print result will not be that ideal. So, rational resolution settings should be implemented before the digital inkjet printer delivers optimal images.

Misunderstanding 4: The print effect of a digital flatbed printer should be exactly as same as the photographs viewed in the computer.

The print effect is related to the elements like inks, substrates and working environments etc., since the inks of different brands and specifications may create slight color cast, and the different extent of absorption of substrates also influence the print effect.

Misunderstanding 5: The print speed of the printer is inversely proportional to the size of photographs.

There are certain links between the print speed and photograph size, but this does not mean the print speed is determined by the latter. In fact, the print speed is also connected to the computer processing speed, data transmission speed, the capacity of print cache and the size and quantity of nozzles.

Misunderstanding 6: the print results of color inkjet printer and the digital flatbed printer are the same.

Color inkjet printer achieves tone changes by controlling the sizes and amounts of ink droplets. But the color category is limited and the dark and light level ink colors are not variable, so the continuous tone of photographs is hard to be achieved.

Combined variable ink droplet technology with the heating function of print heads, the inks of a flatbed UV printing machine can be ejected perfectly and smooth, band-free accurate colors can be delivered.

All in all, digiatl flatbed UV printer can bring many surprises to us when printing photographs and we had better learn some about the reasons and notes of it.
